Rebate Apps You Need for These Deals
- Ibotta- The workhorse of this week's haul. Used for Cesar Dog Food, Popsicles, Good Humor, Tyson Bite Cups, Old El Paso Taco Shells, Old El Paso Beans, Blue Diamond Almond Milk, Lactaid, Post Peebles, and Follow Your Heart.
- Fetch- Scan your receipt for bonus points on Sargento Cheese Bakes, plus the 1,000 point Old El Paso stack bonus.
- Swagbucks- Powers the Werther's Caramels 2-for-free deal.
New to Couponing?
- Download the Kroger app and create an account. All digital coupons are clipped through the app or website. Link your Kroger Plus card so coupons apply automatically at checkout.
- Use the Scan feature to check coupon eligibility. When a deal only works on select varieties (like the Private Selection Cake), open the Kroger app and scan the barcode to confirm the digital coupon applies before you head to checkout.
- Clip all relevant digital coupons before you shop. Go through each deal section and clip every coupon you plan to use. Digital coupons are one-time use unless noted otherwise.
- Check whether your store does true BOGO or 50% off. This determines how many items you need to buy and whether coupons work on the free item.
- Download Ibotta, Fetch, and Swagbucks. Activate offers before you shop, then scan your receipt after checkout.
- For the 5X digital event, clip the 5X coupons before checkout. These are store coupons that stack with manufacturer coupons. You can use them up to five times in one transaction.
Tips for This Week's Kroger Run
- Private Selection Cake is a full freebie. Just clip the free digital coupon, but check varieties first with the Kroger app's Scan feature so your cake rings up free at the register.
- Werther's 2 for free is the easiest win. Buy 2 bags at $2.00 each, submit the $4 Swagbucks rebate, and get both bags free. Swagbucks does not stack with other rebates on the same item, so stick to this path.
- Combine the Old El Paso deals for the Fetch stack bonus. Buying both taco shells and beans unlocks a 1,000 Fetch point offer. That brings all four items down to $0.91 each, easily the best taco-night play of the week.
- Hellmann's Mayo is 75 cents at a half price store. If your store runs 50% off BOGOs, you only need one jar plus the $2 digital coupon to hit that price.
- Check for Pop Tarts peelie coupons. The Pop Tarts Stuffed deal uses a $1 coupon physically attached to the box. Grab the ones with peelies still on them for the 99-cent price.
- Sargento Cheese Bakes has a rebate restriction. You cannot combine the $2 Ibotta with the $2 manufacturer digital. Pair the digital coupon with Fetch instead, or swap to Ibotta if you prefer.
- Print your coupons ahead of time. Rice Krispie Treats, Nutri Grain Bars, and both Pop Tarts deals use Kellanova printable coupons. Print before you leave the house.
